Day Camps

 

Throughout the summer, WillowMay Farm conducts a series of Day Camps.

WillowMay farm will be offering a series of camp session this year on a first come first served basis. Your deposit will be due at time of registration. Payment in full two weeks before start of session.

 

Highlights of the program include:

"" Basic horsemanship under saddle
"" Safety around horses
"" Grooming and tacking
"" Horse anatomy
"" Horse management skills
"" Tack cleaning
"" Farrier demonstrations
"" Different colors, markings, breeds of horses
"" Indoor arena-daily riding rain or shine
"" Arts and crafts
"" Horse bathing-weather permitting
"" Hand painting on horses-weather permitting
"" Making new friends, four-legged as well as two

"" Pizza or Barbeque on Friday

"" LECTURE FROM "R" RATED JUDGE FOR JUMPING CAMP

"" Gymnastic - Grid work - Learn strides and distances.

SESSION DATES for 2011 STYLE STATUS

One July 5th - July 8th Flat OPEN $280
Two July 18th - 22nd Jumping OPEN $350
Three July 25th - 29th Flat OPEN $350
Four August 1st - 5th Jumping OPEN $350

 

 

 

 

Weeks highlighted in red are for jumping camp.

Highlights include grid work & gymnastics,

exercise book to take home for future reference.

 

Each session will cost $350 per week incl a $100 per week non-refundable deposit.

Please note session two is @ the reduces rate of 280 because it is a four day week.

Camp hours:

 

9.30am until 2.30pm, Monday thru Thursday

Friday 9am until Noon

 

 Please note:-

We thrive to make the camp week full of imaginative play, nicely schooled horses with two legged friends as well as four. We hope that this will be a week to remember for your child. Camp hours are from 9.30am until 2.30pm. & 9am until noon on a Friday. Please ensure that your child comes prepared with a packed lunch, bring a large bottle of water and sunscreen with tick repellent. Children are required to wear long pants for riding they may bring shorts to participate in non-riding activities. There is a soda/water machine for an .85 cent fee.

To signup for a session, please complete & mail the registration form below.

Signing Up A registration fee of $100.00 per week must accompany this completed form. Please make checks payable to willowmay Farm Inc..

Camp deposits are non-refundable. Billing will be sent April 10, with the balance due May 31st. Camp tuition is fully refundable up to

May 1, but because we hire staff  purchase equipment and supplies based on anticipated enrollment, tuition is neither refundable

nor pro-rated after May 1.
