Gorgeous Chestnut 15.3hh (2004) thoroughbred mare with beautiful movement, intelligence, great conformation, expressive lovely head and personality to match. Home-bred, born on the farm and never raced. Uncomplicated and a joy, comfortable to ride with balance, reach, and power from behind. Big movement but easy to sit. Melody is a "thinking" horse who loves her work and improves consistently. Truly a horse that goes home at night and does her homework and comes out even better the next day. Smooth, fluid gaits. Naturally balanced and learning to be very light to the aids. She been out on the trail alone and in company. Hacks out on the buckle, w/t/c under saddle. Schooled XC, ditches, banks, water. She has been shown @ intro & training level dressage, placing top two every time out in good company& was DVCTA schooling champion end of series, the judge asked about her after each show. She can be turned out left in the field for weeks on end be brought back in and be like you just rode her yesterday. She is now just starting over fences, grid work & gymnastics.
