Born on the Ides of March (3/15/96) Welt Marke has his permanent license with Rheinland-Pfalz Saar (RPSI) and with five crops on the ground he has produced only 100% Premium foals and 100% Premium Mares. Although he brought home a Grand Championship in-hand he is not just a pretty face. Shown through 4th Level dressage he has schooled all Grand Prix movements and his passage is exceptional. Marker is a talented athlete who is also well-trained over fences and has superior jumping ability.
Welt Marke is an impeccably bred Oldenburg stallion. His pedigree combines the very best of the German Oldenburg dressage and jumping foundation lines: Welt As, Grande, Freiherr, Furioso II, Absatz and Lowen As. Standing 16.1 hh this lovely liver chestnut stallion exhibits the balance, substance and elegant athleticism of his outstanding pedigree. As a foal Welt Marke was awarded an 8.5 and First Premium Foal by the German Oldenburg Verband. Welt Marke has successfully shown at 4th Level with clear potential for Grand Prix - his passage is already awesome! However Welt Marke is also most talented over fences and he LOVES jumping!
Welt Marke’s production record is equally impressive. To date Welt Marke has produced 100% Premium foals with FIVE crops on the ground. In the past four years all of his foals have been GOLD Premium, including the 2002 highest scoring foal in the United States for RPSI. He also sired the highest scoring horse (80.9) and winner of EIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPS at the 2005 NCDCTA Sport horse Breed Show in Raleigh and in 2006 Welt Marke was presented at the same show where he won his Stallion Class, Stallion Championship, Mature Horse Championship and Grand Championship.
Welt Marke is an excellent choice for crossing to Thoroughbreds, yet his refinement and true "modern type" make him a superb choice for warmblood mares. He consistently produces bold, athletic, friendly foals with straight legs, good bone, great hooves, wonderful angles, and super minds. But most importantly he stamps all of his get with his awesome uphill movement. Welt Marke also produces size (his sire is 16.3 and his dam is 17.2). In addition to size and athleticism his offspring clearly demonstrate Welt Marke’s great work ethic and easy temperament. Most of his offspring have been started by amateurs with great success.
